Another old CD-ROM game from the Power Rangers franchise is Mighty Morphin Power Rangers: Create-A-Movie. This is no fighting game like Power Rangers Zeo vs. the Machine Empire. It goes in a completely different direction because it aims at a much younger level.
The story line starts with the opening scene from Mighty Morphin Power Rangers the Movie, with the rangers skydiving. Then suddenly a vortex opens and the rangers become cartoons and in their suits without activating their morphers. One by one, the rangers get sucked into the vortex. They also get captured and separated.
In order to rescue each ranger, you must complete three puzzle games that are extremely easy. Can you believe that there’s also an easier mode as an option?
When you complete a puzzle, you are rewarded by seeing a random clip that’s either from Mighty Morphin Power Rangers the Movie or from the first two seasons of the series.
Once all six rangers are rescued, it unlocks the Create-A Movie mode. That’s where you can arrange the various clips any way you like. You can always go back to the game modes if you want to play the puzzles again.
As interesting as it sounds, this CD-ROM game tends to get old after awhile because it doesn’t have a whole lot to offer.
